Bluestone Community Update 1
Black Pool Mill
We are excited to tell you about our planning submission to bring the incredible Black Pool Mill back into county life as a heritage restaurant.
The project is receiving advice and support from The Welsh Mills Society. All the original mill-machinery will be restored and kept in-situ forming an important backdrop to what Bluestone is determined to ensure is an authentic heritage dining experience.
The proposals will see Black Pool Mill open to visitors all year round serving lunches, cream teas and dinner.
Bluestone Community Update 2
Local Representative Visit
Last month we were pleased to welcome two of our local representatives, Paul Davies AM and Angela Burns AM to Bluestone.
After a guided tour by Founder and CEO William McNamara, and meetings with various staff including discussion about our commitments to community and sustainability with Marten Lewis, Head of Corporate Responsibility. Both commented on the incredible impact Bluestone has had on Pembrokeshire.
We look forward to welcoming further representatives over the coming months.

Bluestone Community Update 4
Duke of Edinburgh Students at Bluestone
We recently had a great few days with young people from out of the county, embarking on a Duke of Edinburgh award here in Pembrokeshire. The group stayed with us in one of our bunk houses, and while they were here Bluestone Ranger, Rob Mackeen and local National Park Ranger, Chris Taylor ran a bat detecting activity with them as part of their experience.
We are proud that we have been able to help showcase Pembrokeshire to these young explorers, as they used Bluestone as a base to experience our county and excel themselves.
